Playing a Small Part in this Historical Initiative

We have been pleased to play a small role in the unveiling of a $100 million educational centre to be built on the site of the Australian Memorial in Villers-Bretonneux in northern France.

We recently had the pleasure of designing and building the case for the model that Tony Abbot used to unveil the plans to build this interactive and information memorial museum, the Sir John Monash Centre. The model was designed here in Australia and flown to Paris, France recently, where Mr Abbot presented it. He said the centre would increase understanding of the Australian effort on the Western Front during World War I.

This year marks the 97th anniversary of the Australian victory at the battle of Villers-Bretonneux in France. An important and victorious date and place in history for Australia, which stopped the German offensive and helped change the course of the war. Some 46,000 Australians lost their lives on the Western Front. You can find out more about this the amazing up and coming Sir John Monash Centre here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xWcQ6X9f3Zo
